Every Road Safety expert on impact protection of bike helmets will tell you it’ll be able to do a good job in any emergency conditions if it fits properly – but this is only one reason to buy a properly fitted helmet. Other advantages of helmet fitting are comfortableness, distraction-free ride and a better view of the road and fatigue-less long rides.
Here are tips for getting the right fit…

Tale of the tape

The first thing to get a right size helmet is, measure the perimeter of your head, by a fabric tape wrapped around a centimeter above from eyebrow. If you are going to buy a helmet online then check the helmet manufacturer’s guide to see which size covers your measurement.

The try on

If you are buying your helmet from any shop then you can only find the right piece by putting it on your head and trying. While you trying bike helmets, you must check that it is snuggly fit on your head without folding your ears and putting extra pressure on any part of your face.

Chin Strap

Try to pull the chin strap away from your chin. If the chin strap moves or loosens, the chin is either too long or incorrectly adjusted. Readjust the length of your chinstrap, fasten it and check it again until you have the proper fit and the helmet is security fastened. Hold the helmet from the back & try to pull the helmet off. If the helmet starts to come off, the chin strap is not sufficiently well tightened and or helmet is too large.

For the best possible head protection, the motorcyclehelmets must be exact in size. And if you do not get the exact size, in that case, choose which is closest to your head size. If the size of your bike helmet is too large on your head then it may slip off from your head in case of emergency as a result, defeating the only intention behind wearing the helmet. And if your helmet is too small for you then it will distract you and cause an accident
Aaron Helmets are available in different head sizes like small, large & extra large in different style, colors, and features at the very reasonable price. It is a fact that you may not always find a properly fitted helmet in the market. In that case choose a best-fitted helmet for better safety.
